Enhancing Community Mobilization and Sensitization and Peaceful Co-existence - ECMSPC 2023

The project aimed at mainly South Sudanese and Congolese refugees including the host community members in the refugee settlements of Rhino, Lobule, Imvepi and Kiryandongo refugee settlements. The targeted intervention were in general protection, Education, Livelihood, Leadership, WASH, Health, environment engaging women, men, children, youth, PSNs, the elderly and the marginalised.

E-Waste Management in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement

Code named Greening Humanitarian Response through Recovery, Repair, and Recycling of Solar Products in DisplacementSettings, the E-waste Project specifically looks at creating a circular economy for solar lanterns and solar home systems and their accessories that have been distributed in displacement settings.
The overall objective of the E-waste Project is to identify solutions that reduce and manage e-waste, while
prolonging energy access, creating employment opportunities, supporting alternative forms of
livelihoods, increasing knowledge transfer and promoting environmental sustainability.
